Basketball Rules in Palestine
Originally published in Emancipation & Liberation Issue 10, Summer 2005.
1.Israelis have the right to play on both sides of the court, whereas Palestinians can only play on their own side.
2. For security reasons, Palestinians do not have the right to pass the ball between players, the ball could hit an Israeli player.
3. There will be no basket on the Israeli side.
4. Israel is allowed to shoot at any time, even during time-outs.
5. Palestinians are not allowed to have supporters. Only Israelis should be supported.
6. Israel selects the press and what the press reports.
7. Israel encourages Palestinians to shoot into the Palestinian basket. Players who refuse will be nominated as terrorists and will not be allowed to play.
8. Palestinian players are allowed to leave the field but can not return. One exception: A Palestinian can be replaced by an Israeli.
9. Israel selects and instructs the referees, and tells them to look away.
10. Israel selects the captain of the Palestinian team.
11. Israeli faults and Palestinian good plays will not be shown on TV.
12. Israel takes the money sponsors pay to Palestinians.
13.Only Israeli players get refreshments.
14. Palestinians are required to play, when and where designated by Israel.
15. Rules only apply to Palestinians. Israelis may change the rules during the game and are not required to advice the Palestinians of the changes.

17. The Palestinians have changed the rules of basketball so that they are allowed to fire missiles into the Israeli stands.
18. If the Palestinians manage to win, then the all Israels have to move to beach front property a mile off of the coast of Tel Aviv where there is no land.
19. All the bleeding heart Euroliberals get to throw trash on the court.
20. The Palestinians are afforded sponsorship by the United Nations that no other team in the league gets.
21. The Palestinians are allowed to accept under the table payments from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to pay for missiles to fire into teh Israeli stands expect when the teh Palestinians also receive missiles from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

On behalf of Hamas, I am currently working on a design for the ultimate weapon of terror, 'The Suicide Bomber Rocket'. This is a refinement of the current design of Quassam rocket insofar as it has a suicide bomber strapped to it.

The Isreali Ministry of Defense has already stated that the effect of the Quassam Rocket is mainly psychological, this new refinement should cause supporters of the Zionists to actually die of indignation, thus leaving Israel isolated and forced to come to terms with the Palestinians.

Two Million Haitians in Port Au Prince are in dire circumstance after the devastating 7.0 earthquake utterly destroyed that capital city;

Bulldozers are working round the clock, feverishly burying tens of thousands of smelling, rotting corpses in unmarked, mass graves.
Help is pouring in however. The UN is there, and "Doctors without Borders", The American Red Cross, Church missions aiding orphans, Salvation Army crews, and the U.S. Carrier Vincent with 19 helicopters, the USNS Comfort, a floating hospital with 12 fully equipped surgical rooms were quick to respond to aid the hapless human beings of this Haitian Tragedy.
Where are the highly-touted 'charity people' from the Oil-rich Middle East? Where's Saudi Arabia? They spend countless billions to promote their ancient religious programs, and building their holy mosques and madrassa around the world. Where are they?
So far, a week after the earthquake, only a single nation from the Middle East showed up; tiny Israel is on the ground with a mobile hospital, with fully staffed medical people, and search & rescue teams!
So much for Islam's Peace & Love.

Obviously he wouldn't have seen any of the aid that Middle eastern Countries have provided because he only reads Israeli reports of what they are doing.
If you google around in a few seconds, you can find the articles and evidence of the relife effort by many different middle eastern countries and organizations.
I welcome the Israeli Relief effort and applaud it, but not at the expense of using it to obscure what others are doing and deny that relief is coming from places you don't like as well.
Even Palestinian children are engaged in Haitian relief efforts...they are donating what they can.
But that's how you guys operate, anyway you can dehumanize the object of your hate.

Emirates showed up with a plane carrying 77 tons of medical and food aids plus another plane with 100 tons of medical aids and tents,
Saudi Arabia too showed up with 50 Million dollars,
Tunisia showed up with 1 Million dollars, Kuwait also showed up,
even the Palestinians in Gaza are giving aids for the Haitians, maybe because they feel how they suffer.
What a confusing thing! Two peoples suffering, the first is suffering from a nature-made disaster, and the second is suffering because of a man-made disaster.
Ah, by the way, why the "kind-hearted" Israelis didn't showed their mercy towards the poor 418 children in Gaza whom they killed? Why they didn't show their mercy towards the Palestinians in Gaza and used the worst weapons that cause flesh melting and permanent maims, DIME, Phosphorus bombs?

ReplyDeleteTo be honest, Snakething wears me down after a while, I end up wishing I had never started debating him, I end up feeling unclean. Also, I was the victim of Irish media propaganda too. Listening to Irish radio one would think the only 3 countries giving aid to Haiti are Ireland, the USA and Israel.
I heard some officer from the IDF on the radio going on about the wonderful mobile hospitals they were setting up, I did reflect that I didn't see them rushing into Gaza to set up these hospitals a year ago.

You reminded me of the Israeli newspaper, Ynetnews, that talked about the video of T. West. The headline for their article is; "Anti-Semitic video against Israel team in Haiti"
Wow, they see that everyone who accuse Israelis of any bad thing is against the "Semitic race"!!
I analyse that Israeli preview of every claim against Israelis as "Anti-Semitic" as a deep refusal to accept criticism from anybody, and self-retirement.
This Israeli preview briefs the Jewish history and personality. They always lived in Ghettos and isolated places. Even when they were successful merchants, they seek monopoly for the trade. They couldn't coexist with the societies they lived in.
All this history of isolation and incapability to coexist ended by their immigration to the land of Palestine, and guess what? They couldn't coexist with Palestinians and Arabs. Zionists systematically bombed Arab targets in Palestine, they terrorized Palestinian villagers to leave their homes, they evacuated tens of Palestinian cities and villages, they destroyed Palestinian farms. They wanted it a Ghetto state ONLY FOR JEWS.

My intention was to make a few entries on the subject of Palestine.
I haven't written on the subject of Haiti.
I don't have internet or computer use very often these days. So I have been unable to put up more entries about Palestine.
I see that a couple people have done research in my absence to do so. Thanks to all!
However, on a recent search, I discovered very few sites about Palestine and am disheartened. Searches I have done in the past are not good sourcing activities.
Has the subject of Palestine become narrow and limited, causing a very refined search needing direct websites already provided?
It has become a frustrating environment. Is anyone else having trouble researching Palestine right now?

Recently I've not been doing much on this blog but sitting back and watching the traffic feed.
Interestingly the post that generates the most new traffic is one from last November called Subh Milis by Séamus Ó Neill.
This is a translation of a Gaelic language poem from the Irish schools curriculum that I did for my own amusement.
Maybe I should move this blog onto a more educational footing, or even become a language scholar and leave all this religion and politics behind me, it sure is troublesome.

ReplyDeleteDon't include me in your we the people are waking up. At this time, federal dollars to states are being held up. Jobs programs are being derailed by states.
There is not enough momentum is the individual states to make progress occur. That is what Iowans are looking at right now.
The people and corporations do not want a green program. More jobs? yes. Invested interest? Not so much. The list goes on and o with corporations controlling where, if and how federal incentive money will be spent.
Really, I didn't agree with Obama's approach, knowing how entrenched corps are in Iowa. But, when individuals are able to start their own chapters of success, then things will improve. Individuals vs banking corporations? Funny joke. Even grant money is very tied into corporation support.
There is your answer, brother. I've been doing the research for three years on this situation.

ReplyDeleteThe Individual is at a disadvantage versus corporations since big business, just like big banking, own too many politicians. That's why when large organizations make stupid investments, the federal government forces free citizens (and their progeny) to pay for their malfeasance and greed through higher taxes, inflation (printing more currency reduces the value of every dollar you possess), and back-breaking, insurmountable, ruinous debt.
If you want a free nation, if you want success for individuals, the nation's tyrants must be removed from office, first.

Since they defend Muhammad's model of mayhem, maiming, and mass-murder, a little reality is in order . . .
If the games were to reflect the Real World, the Muslim team would gun down the Israeli team before half-time, and the referee would call a foul on Israel.
And the crowd would cheer, just like you do.
In the next game, the new Israeli team would take the court wearing bullet-proof armor. There'd be a metal detector at the door, Muslim weapons would be confiscated, and the referee would call a foul on Israel.
And the crowd would jeer, just like you do.
In their third game, the Muslim team's mascot would self-detonate in the stands on the Israeli side, killing hundreds. The referee would call the game for the Muslims.
And the crowd would fleer, just like you do.
And when the Israelis finally come to their senses and ban Muslims from playing on their court, you and the rest of your anti-Semitic, terrorist-enabling friends would have them expelled from international competition, pass a UN resolution denouncing Israel's "intolerance," and B. Hussein would hold a press conference on the "unprecedented opportunity" to force Israel to give up basketball. And the land on which their court sits.

You can't have "emancipation and liberation" obfuscating for Allah's malevolence. If anyone does read your 'blog and isn't instantly revulsed by your nescient moral inversion, then you've aided Allah's cause.

Here's Mohamed's idea of tolerance:

Ibn Kathir says of this verse: "'Wage war' mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. Mischief in the land refers to various types of evil." So, Muhammad requires execution, crucifixion, or cutting off hands and feet from opposite sides for "disbelief."
