The Clash - Complete Control and Safe European Home
To end my 1970's music trip, the greatest rock band that ever existed, sorry if it's a bit rough and the language is not so proper, but it is punk rock after all.
Let's see.... The 70's? for me, it was ELO, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Doobie Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, to top my list.
I like them all especially The Dead and Floyd, I don't know much about Grand Funk Railroad or the Allman Brothers, but none could match the Clash for integrity and love of their fans (well maybe the Grateful Dead could). Not to mention their spot-on left-wing ethos!
God! My internet is slow this evening, it's pissing me off.

London Calling is my favourite from the Clash
ReplyDeleteHi John,
ReplyDeleteYeah, I really like London Calling, Bankrobber and Complete Control, but I love loads of their songs.
