Gaza

I just had a long and interesting conversion on the telephone with a gentleman from The Consul at the Embassy of Israel in Dublin.
Please engage in dialogue anyway you can, it is important to try to bring peace to the world.

  2. Hi Moonlite,

That's good the picture thing, I am not anonymous on the internet. These cowards like Snakehunters who write hate but who hide their true identities sicken me.

"In the interest of wondering, where is that picture of your handsome person? I don't find it." , sorry, I don't know what you mean???

  5. Hello Graycrow!

I really like your inspirational message on this entry. It made me think, "What can I do?" I hope everyone feels that way.

I still don't find the picture of you in black suit and blue tie on the site anywhere. Did you take it off?

    Taking it easy!

  6. This is a part of the world, that just never seems to live in peace for too long. I dunno really what the solution is anymore, and I probably never knew anyway! UGH! It's exhausting, but at this point both sides of this terrible conflict are guilty of awful things.

It's tragic and scary, because this one volatile region could always lead the world into a larger conflict.

  7. WAT,
Yes, it is exhausting to try to get even reliable information about the Palestinian/Israeli situation.

But, this is what I am thinking:
Palestine has not been recongized by the United Nations as a state. Therefore, it is a nonstate territory. For this reason, I think Israel thinks it has a right to settle the territory and claim it.

It was a huge mistake to give the international nod to Israel, allowing a state be created without consent of those already living in the region.

It has been said, that no one in the Middle East actually like the Palestinian people. So, without friends nearby, these people are left to their own devices, which is what Palestine has done.

It's sad to have family, neighbors and friends live in an area so full of constant battling, no matter what your religious preference is.

At this time, however, walls and fencing are separating families from their farms or fields. Harrassment from Israel is so invasive at this time. Really. There needs to be legal action of some kind taken.

Last, if there is some innate problem with one group of people, namely the Palestinians, this is history breaking and chages all theories of equality for all. The same is true for Jewish people, too.

  8. Ann, I don't own a black suit and never posted a pic of me in a suit. Hmm, wonder why you were looking for it.
